1) Synaesthesia

This painting is based on the concept of synaesthesia, a neurological disorder causing surreal blending of sensations and perceptions. Synaesthetes can taste colours, hear shapes, see sounds or touch emotions in myriad combinations.

This artwork is a composite of all that goes on in my head on a daily basis like medicine (represented by the pale blue areas on top left corner and below red eye which are anthrax bacilli), art ideas, music, landscapes inspired by stories I’ve read, space and life in nature.
